The
RHS is closely associated with the genus Dianthus,
the carnations and pinks, in various ways. Not only has it
two committees devoted to assessing these plants, it is also
involved in the registration of new cultivars, and organises
frequent trials.
Registration
Dianthus is one of nine important plant
groups for which the RHS is the International Registration
Authority.
